Baked Goods for Good

This one’s going to be straight and to the point. There’s no shortage of craziness going on in the world. I’m thankful to be safe here in Philly (even though some may still say, “Bad Things Happen in Philadelphia”).

Quick highlight: I’ll be raising money for World Central Kitchen by selling baked goods for pickup in Philly this Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to noon. Can’t pickup? Feel free to add a donation to the larger support on the form below as well!

A little bit more: I figure there’s not really any better time to raise money for an organization I admire, with boots on the ground helping those in need as quickly as possible.

World Central Kitchen has been providing relief for those impacted by Hurricane Helene:

World Central Kitchen’s Relief Team is responding to communities affected by Hurricane Helene. Multiple WCK food truck partners and our new Rapid Response Field Kitchen were pre-positioned to provide hot meals quickly after the storm had passed. We're currently responding in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee to serve communities in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Unfortunately it looks like another hurricane is set to hit land this week, which means more people will be in need as well. So while I’ll be here, I figure raising money by sharing what I love making is one way to make an impact.

The Rundown

100% of proceeds will be donated to World Central Kitchen.

The form breaks it down completely, but here’s a quick rundown:

Choose your pickup time on Sunday, Oct. 13 between 10 a.m. and noon at 30 minute intervals.

Not in the area or can’t make the pickup? There’s a donation option right on the form if you’d like to contribute to the overall donation.

Following the submission of your form, you will receive pick-up and payment or donation instructions.

The order form will close on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 11:59 p.m.
