Smell Ya Later, 2024

A friend recently took the words out of my mouth when they said, “this year has definitely been… something.” Whether this has been your year or not, may 2025 have lots to look forward to and even more good change ahead.

2024 has had its up’s and down’s, so if a new year is a reason to look forward to change, let’s get to action:

• Do something you’ve always talked about,

• Go some place that has “been at the top of my list”,

• Actually grab coffee or talk on the phone with friends and family,

• And, of course, coming back to food… try making that pasta dish, baked good, breakfast plate, whatever it is that you love or caught your eye!

A Pinch Of Wrapped

This year more than any before has revolved around food for me, shifting from a hobby to an obsession of sorts. It’s part of my travels, part of my therapy and part of what connects me to others. So whether that’s a good or a bad thing, I’m riding the wave while it’s still fun.

One of my favorite memories has come during the busy holiday season this year as a sort of holiday hotline / “food guru” (another person’s words, not mine) as friends dove into new cooking and baking adventures. My phone has turned into a hotline for bread baking, pasta making and cookie recommendations. And I love it! All texts welcome. (Response times may vary.)

So with that… the 2024 A Pinch Of season comes to an end. Here’s a look back at the historical numbers.
